At Tasty HCG, we present you with three different phases of the HCG diet in order to comply with the original Dr. Simeons HCG diet protocol. We believe that if you follow these three phases, you’ll achieve the best results.
Phase 1: The Loading Phase
For the first two days, start taking the Tasty HCG drops:
- Place 10 drops under your tongue and hold them there for 60 seconds. Swallow the remaining liquid. Note: Be sure to take ten drops, three times per day, for a total of 30 drops. Once in the morning, 30 minutes before lunch, and then again 30 minutes before dinner.
- During the first two days of taking the drops, you’ll need to eat 4,000-5000 calories a day of high fat food. You’ll be storing fat to be used as energy during the low calorie portion of the diet (described later). DO NOT skip this step or you will NOT lose weight as quickly, you’ll be hungry on the diet and your energy levels will be low.
The best foods to eat are avocados, nuts, milk chocolate, cheese, pastries, ice cream, pizza, peanut butter, bread (with lots of butter), and pork.
Phase 2: Starting the Low Calorie Diet
On the third day, you’ll begin the low calorie diet of 500 calories per day. Continue the low calorie diet for 3 weeks (if you’re trying to lose 20-40 pounds), or 6 weeks (if you’re trying to lose more than 40 pounds). Below we have described what a day on the 500 calorie diet looks like
BREAKFAST
Tea or coffee in any quantity without sugar.
Only one Tablespoon of milk is allowed in 24 hours.
Stevia or a comparable organic sugar substitute may be used.
One serving of fruit can be eaten during breakfast instead of for a snack or with meals. (Only 2 total servings of fruit can be eaten per day)
LUNCH
100 grams (3.5 oz.) of lean protein
2 cups of vegetables
One serving Grissini Bread-sticks or Melba Toast
and one serving of *fruit
DINNER

*Fruit may be eaten with meal or as breakfast or, for a snack. Just try not to eat it within 2 hours of bedtime.
- Weigh In - Every morning when you wake up you should empty your bladder and weigh yourself. You should see a weight loss of 1 to 2 pounds per day.
- Drops – Continue to take 10 drops 30 minutes before you eat or drink each meal.
- Water – Over weight people are dehydrated. Drink 1 large glass of water upon arising after you have weighed yourself. Then drink 1/2 – 1 gallon of water throughout the day. Recommended waters include Volvic, Fiji, and Evian. Spring water is best. If spring water is not available drink distilled.
- Exercise – It is not necessary to exercise while on the HCG diet. However, if you would like to you should stick to low-impact cardio such as walking, jumping on a trampoline, or yoga. While under the influence of HCG, any exercise that fatigues your muscles (such as lifting weights or high impact aerobics) will cause your body to retain water and not lose weight as quickly.
Phase 3: Boost Your Metabolism
As soon as you achieve your weight loss goal, begin phase 3. This is the most CRUCIAL part of the HCG diet. Successfully executing this phase resets your metabolism higher, resets your hunger lower, and resets your hypothalamus so that in the future it does not store fat in the abnormal problem areas. This phase helps guarantee that your body is corrected from the abnormal condition that caused the weight gain in the first place. If you skip this part, YOU WILL GAIN WEIGHT BACK! You don’t want that to happen, so complete Phase 3 in order to lock in your hard earned weight loss, boost your metabolism and ensure that you keep this weight off for good.
If you’ve done the HCG 500 calorie diet, this is the easy part! Here are some of the changes in Phase 3:
- The day after you achieve your goal weight stop taking the drops and continue on the 500 calorie diet for 3 days. (This is where our appetite suppressant Will Power will come in handy). You need to get all of the Vibrational HCG out of your system before you begin to increase your calories or your body will begin to gain weight .
- Your main goal in Phase III your HCG diet is to at least double the amount of protein you were eating Phase II of your HCG diet. You will want to eat at least 18 grams of lean protein a day.
- Now your options have increased. We’ve added more proteins and vegetables to your list as well as small amounts of dairy. You can now start using very small amounts of oil and butter to cook and flavor your foods. You can eat small amounts of nuts for snacks and start drinking protein shakes.
- You can now mix vegetables.
- You still need to stay away from sugar and carbohydrates and eat only foods on the approved list.
- In order to determine how many calories you should consume in Phase 3 take your ending goal weight and add a zero to it. ex. If my goal weight was 140 pounds, I would be eating 1400 calories per day.
- You should now start incorporating resistance training and/or weights into your workouts to start building lean muscle.
- You need to continue to weigh yourself every morning just after emptying your bladder. If there is more than a 1 pound weight gain take immediate actions to reverse the gain. (see Phase 3 of “How it Works”)
